Terry has carried out research and analysis on the economy, housing, and mortgage markets for a variety of banks and FHLBanks.

Prior to starting BankingStrategist.com, Terry gained a depth and breadth of experience across banking, insurance and financial services working at community banks such as City National Bank of Detroit, First of America, Integra Bank and BankFinancial, larger regional banks such as National Bank of Detroit and First Chicago and in the FHLBank system. His unique experience in banking mergers and acquisitions (see graphic) resulted from his ability to partner with others to build a team and  to successfully define and implement a merger strategy and fit with the strategic business plan.

Terry received his M.B.A. from the University of Michigan in Finance and Banking and his B.A. in Economics from Wabash College.
